Comprehensive system for simple microcontroller programming according to IEC 61131-3

Within the automotive sector, a range of microcontroller-based control systems are on the rise, frequently employed for managing decentralized functions. Leveraging our engineering toolchain and functionally safe control elements, we design fully integrable comprehensive systems that simplify the process of standardizing and configuring microcontrollers. These systems attain certification up to the safety standard SIL 3.

Requirements

  • Microprocessor solutions with a small footprint, cost-effective implementation, and rapid time to market for decentralized control components
  • Integration of existing runtime environments must also be possible (only scheduling of newly created applications by the engineering tool required)
  • Programming not only in high-level languages but also in IEC 61131-3 languages.
  • Simple parameterization by the OEM user, integrated with ODM's diagnostic and configuration tools
  • Interface with Matlab/Simulink to directly import code from model-based development
  • Combination of C/C++ and IEC languages
  • Text-based storage of all project files to enable automatic external content generation
  • Headless build to automatically compile the automatically generated sources.
  • Support for Autosar
