Increasingly, physical barriers between humans and robots are being removed in factories to facilitate seamless collaboration. Ensuring the uninterrupted safety and functionality of robots becomes even more critical to prevent hazards and damages.

Neuron Automation develops comprehensive solutions that enable the programmability of safety functions, as well as the standardization and parameterization of individual robot arms and the central control unit using a single engineering tool.

  • Safety Motion module with a small footprint, cost-effective implementation, and rapid time-to-market for robotic arms
  • Full safe functionality in a powerful safe controller
  • Programmability of safety functions by ODM independent of firmware and without the need for recertification
  • Programming in not only high-level languages but also IEC 61131-3 languages
  • Safe fieldbus stacks for interfacing with external systems
  • Simple and safe parameterization by the OEM user, integrated with ODM's diagnostic and configuration tools
  • To avoid the need for recertification with every change, the application must be decoupled from the firmware
  • Certified safe floating-point arithmetic must be available to calculate custom kinematic transformations
